What is training compliance and how is it calculated?
The term training compliance refers to the percentage of your mandatory training that you have completed. For example, if you hold 2 out of 4 required training items for your job role, we would say you are 50% compliant with your mandatory training.
Each person on Competency Cloud is assigned a trade which informs us what type of job role they are carrying out day-to-day. Each trade then has a set of mandatory training that must be completed by all individuals who fall into that trade. The document that sets out all the different trades for your contract/business and their associated training requirements is referred to as the training matrix.
How do I view my training compliance?
All information relating to training compliance is stored and calculated in Competency Cloud. To view your current training compliance, navigate to the My Training Summary box on the homepage.
Here you will see a pie chart detailing your current training compliance - this is split into training you already hold, training you are booked onto and training you are required to complete.
Clicking on the See More button will take you through to the Competencies tab on your training profile. On this page, you will see a detailed list of all training items you must hold for your job role. Down the right hand-side, you will see details of your current status against each requirement.
At the top of the table, you will see the name of the trade that you have been associated with. You may have been assigned more than one trade depending on which part of the business you work in and therefore will have more than one list of training requirements.
Some of the training items listed aren't relevant to my job role - what should I do?
TrainWithUs work alongside our contracts and businesses to ensure that everyone is listed against the correct job role and trade, however with such a mobile workforce the information we hold might sometimes be incorrect. If you think that the training items listed aren't relevant to your job role, or if you think you have been incorrectly given the wrong trade, please get in touch with our team so we can look into this for you and make any necessary changes.
